The Most High God, Yahweh has not cast away this people. Even under the tremendous curses befalling these Hebrew (Black) people – Deuteronomy 28 – for our disobedience to our God, the Most High God still allows His Love for us to be showcased.
Today is the Feb. 28th the last day of the American Black History Month celebration.
Here are just a few modern Black [better known as Hebrew] Inventors; many of these inventors are alive and still inventing!
Dr. James E. West – the inventor of the Electroacoustic Transducer Electret Microphone, better known as the “mic”.
Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson – conducted breakthrough scientific research which laid the groundwork for the invention of the portable fax, touch tone telephone, solar cells, fiber optic cables, and the technology behind caller ID and call waiting.
Roy Clay Sr., the Father of Silicon Valley, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard computer company. Programmer, Engineer, Designer set the computing and technology pace far before Apple and Microsoft even existed.
Henry Sampson – inventor, whose gamma-electrical cell made it possible to wirelessly send and receive audio signals through radio waves that was a vital component to the growth of cellular phone usage.
Gerald Lawson – created the first home video game system with interchangeable game cartridges, which would become industry standard ( cartridges to CDs).
Mark Dean – computer engineer and inventor, who is best known for owning 3 of the 9 patents that went into building the original IBM PC. He was the major leader of the team that helped create the first gigahertz microprocessor
George Carruthers – inventor, physicist, and space scientist, best known for creating inventions such as the ultraviolet camera, or spectograph, which was used by NASA in the 1972 (Apollo 16).
Marie Van Brittan Brown – inventor, becoming the originator and patent owner of the home security system, along with her husband Albert Brown.
Kenneth J. Dunkley – inventor of 3-D glasses, [yes, the ones you use at the movies!] and a visual pioneer in the field of Holography.
Lonnie G. Johnson– inventor and engineer who holds more than 80 patents. He is the inventor of the famous Super Soaker water gun. More importantly he is designing a new generation of rechargeable battery technology which provides a source of energy many times that which exists today in a substantially reduced size.
