The Chronicles of NCCI

Psalms 19:7  The law of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple.

please begin your preparation.

A day of Love or a day of Hate??

The celebration of Valentine’s Day is the honoring of a false, pagan god.  This celebration does not honor the Creator.  Celebrating this day shows hate, not love for your Creator.

Exodus 20:3-6  Thou shalt have no other gods before meThou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing …Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity … of them that hate me…

Matthew 6:24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the otherYe cannot serve God and mammon.

  • Psalms 97:10  Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints…
  • Psalms 119:113  I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
  • Psalms 119:163  I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
  • Amos 5:15  Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate…

Proverbs 1:22  How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? …  and fools hate knowledge?

Numbers 10:10  Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.

Psalms 81:3  Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

1 Samuel 20:18  Then Jonathan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.

Pope Gregory’s New Year, not Our New Year!

January 1st is not the beginning of the year, it was only declared to be the 1st day of the year by a couple of men.  The true beginning of the year falls in the season of spring, in the Northern Hemisphere that occurs between the months of March and April.

“The idea of using the first day of January to mark the beginning of the new year dates back to time of Julius Caesar…..Even as the Julian calendar spread in popularity, some areas continued to use dates in March and September as New Year’s Day. …During the 1570s, Pope Gregory put the Gregorian calendar into effect, restoring Jan. 1 as the first day of the new year. This change in tradition wasn’t officially implemented by England until 1752. Up until then, England and the American colonies had celebrated the new year on March 25.” https://www.livescience.com/32913-why-does-the-new-year-start-on-january-1st.html
