Feast of Tabernacles
The celebration of this great feast is a joyous time, a time of giving glory to YHWH (Lev 23:33-44). It is the longest feast of the Hebrew sacred Calendar, lasting eight days. The first and the eighth day are Sabbath days (Lev 23:39). It is symbolic of the Tabernacle of witness built by the Israelites in the wilderness under the leadership of Moses, and the Tabernacle built by Solomon, rebuilt by Zerubabel and in the near future, by YHWH Elohim! The Feast of Tabernacles has a prophetic meaning relating to the kingdom on earth after the re-gathering and restoration of the tribes of Israel. At that time, the feast will again become memorial, not for Israel alone, but for all nations (Zech. 14:16-21).
