Patrick’s Day is just another international opportunity to promote continued paganism hidden behind partying, food, and symbolism. The Christian version of this holiday’s origins involves the celebration of the actions of a missionary called Patrick (saint?). He was said to introduce the pagan people of Ireland to Christian concepts, particularly the Trinity worship. The shamrock was already a Celtic Irish symbol representing – rebirth (green), fertility, & good luck — so his connecting this symbol to another philosophy was an example of paganism that once again begat more paganism and the shamrock took on its connection to a three person god…as it is today, called the Trinity.
The Trinity doctrine ancient being found throughout the centuries, Egyptian trinity, Hindu trinity, Chinese trinity, Roman trinity, all the way down to Christian trinity. This 3-person god doctrine is thoroughly NOT Biblical, start with Commandment number one, No other gods! http://ustream.tv/channel/chronicles-of-ncci
